We host a monthly book club for anyone who wants to read and discuss mathematics. Each month we pick a book about math (history, biography, problem solving, etc.) and discuss it one Saturday each month. It is a virtual event on Zoom. Contact vwatson@gatewaycmc.org to be placed on the email list.
On April 27, 2024, we'll discuss Secrets of Mental Math by Arthur Benjamin and Michael Shermer.
On a date TBD in May, we'll discuss Things to Make and Do in the Fourth Dimension by Matt Parker.
