We host a monthly book club for anyone who wants to read and discuss mathematics. Each month we pick a book about math (history, biography, problem solving, etc.) and discuss it one Saturday each month. It is a virtual event on Zoom. Contact vwatson@gatewaycmc.org to be placed on the email list.
On January 13th we'll discuss the first half of The Crest of the Peacock by George Gheverghese Joseph.
On a date TBD in February, we'll discuss either the 2nd half of Crest of the Peacock or Math Girls (vol. 1) by Hiroshi Yuki and Tony Gonzalez

training future code breakers in the mathematics of Cryptography. Sign

We're happy to report that we'll have a booth at the Atlanta Science
Festival's Exploration Expo at Piedmont Park on March 23, 2024. Our
booth is entitled "IS THIS EVEN MATH?" We'll be playing SET, making
Borromean Rings, and visualizing number sequences.
